Recently, 11 academicians of the two academies (academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering) jointly proposed the “Proposals for Accelerating the Construction of Ecological Barriers in the Yellow River and the Development of the Emerging Industries of Grass and Grass”. On June 18th, “Father of Grass and Grass” and Deputy Director-General of the National Germplasm Engineering Research Center, Chief Scientist and Researcher Lin Zhanyi, visited the “6·18” live-casting room of Xinhuanet. They introduced the role of Xiaoju grass.

　　Lin Zhanyi introduced that the construction of the ecological barrier of grass and grass in the Yellow River will provide a very good case for the ecological governance of the country’s rivers and rivers. The ecology of the Yellow River is relatively poor. If the ecological management of the Yellow River is feasible, it will be easier to implement it throughout the country.

　　“April this year, we can conclude that we have already found a variety of grasses and weeds that can withstand cold in the Yellow River basin. This is a major breakthrough in grass and grass technology. The results of this research have solved the annual planting in high-cold areas. The perplexity of grasses fills the gap in planting perennial grasses in the Yellow River basin.” Lin Zhanxi said that at present, the construction of ecological barriers for grass and grass in the Yellow River has begun to take shape.

On May 26, 2017, a seminar on “Realizing the 2030 Plan to Strengthen the Development of Sustainable Agriculture for Poverty Alleviation and Promoting Productive Employment Through Developing Technologies of the Developing Countries Through Grass Germplasm Technologies” was held at the UN Headquarters under the auspices of the United Nations. Grass and grass technology is listed by China's government and the United Nations as China-United Nations Peace and Development Fund project. To provide assistance to developing countries in promoting the sustainable development of agriculture and lifting poverty, the China Program is an important agricultural technology for establishing the image of a responsible country. This also provides a higher and broader platform for promoting the development of grass and grass projects.

　　In addition to the ecological management in the Yellow River Basin, there are many new developments in the grass and grass technology in Fujian. Lin Zhanyi introduced that the grass-grass technology played a significant role in the restoration of vegetation in Fujian mines. At the same time, the comprehensive utilization of grass and grass technology has also been realized and it has begun to enter industrial production. At present, we have realized the use of straw as a raw material for papermaking, board making and wine making, which has created higher economic benefits.
