The Influence of the So-called Industrial Adjustment on Paper-making Enterprises
Release:Qinyang GuoRui PaperMaking Machinery Co., Ltd. Browsing:1166 Release time:2022-11-19

Under the circumstances that China's economic growth began to slow down, the Third Plenary Session set the tone for macro-economic development of “structural adjustment” and “guarantee growth”. The adjustment of China’s regional economy and industrial structure subsequently opened up. And gradually deeper.

The National Development and Reform Commission has expressed such an expression for the current regional economy: "The eastern part of the country is stabilizing slowly, the central part is steady, and the western part is stable and worried, and the northeast part is larger." Through this description, we can easily see some clues. The central and western regions may be the two regions with relatively good development status in the near future.

In the tide of “changing cages and changing birds”, the printing industry is particularly worthy of attention by paper makers. Wang Yanji, director of the Printing and Publishing Division of the State Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television Bureau, gave a report entitled "Promoting China's printing industry to achieve sustainable development" at the 7th China Shanghai International Printing Week Forum. Which mentioned:

From 2011 to 2013, the printing output value of central provinces including Shanxi, Anhui, Jiangxi, Henan, Hubei and Hunan increased from 109.4 billion yuan to 153.8 billion yuan, with an average growth rate of 20%, far exceeding the national average of 11%. The total amount of foreign investment has increased from 2 billion U.S. dollars to 3.89 billion U.S. dollars, and the volume of external processing trade has increased from 3.13 billion yuan to 6.2 billion yuan, almost all doubling.

In recent years, in the eastern coastal areas, "changing cages for birds", the printing industry as a biased labor-intensive industry, the pace of the gradient transfer from the eastern region to the central and western regions has accelerated. In Ganzhou, one of Jiangxi's only places, in recent years, relying on regional advantages, it has undertaken the transfer and set up more than 10 printing companies that have invested over 100 million yuan.

In 2013, the scale of the printing industry in the central region has reached 85% of the Pearl River Delta region, and its growth has accounted for 25% of the country's increase, becoming an important growth pole. The eastern region has grown steadily, and the central region has risen rapidly. The industrial layout of China's printing industry has gradually shifted from the three bases of the Bohai Rim, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta to a balanced development in the eastern and central regions.

As a downstream industry, this large-scale transfer of printing companies will inevitably affect the production and operation of papermaking companies. The analysts of the International Pulp and Paper Network point out here that the printing companies are not the only customers of the papermaking companies. The industrial transfer will also bring many other market opportunities to the papermaking companies.

In the coastal areas where China's economy is relatively developed, after many years of operation by many paper-making enterprises, the market is basically in a relatively stable state. It is very difficult for companies to seek breakthroughs, and with the adjustment of regional economies, the transfer of industries, the future More inland areas will have higher levels of economic development, which will also bring new market space for paper companies.

Specifically, household paper may be the first area to show growth momentum. In addition, packaging paper and cultural paper other than printing paper will gradually show a growing trend. After all, the application of paper products Has penetrated into many aspects of production and life, so with the development of regional economy, the demand for paper supplies will gradually show a growth momentum.

The transformation and development brought about by the development of the regional economy and the adjustment of the industrial structure are all-round. Paper companies can't just see the changes brought about by the adjustment of printing companies, but they must have a holistic view and a long-term perspective. There is also a need to remind the papermakers that although the development trend is positive, this trend is a slow, gradual process. Reflecting the growth of market segments, there will also be a process where paper companies can conduct preliminary mapping and layout. In particular, there must be a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of existing companies and competitors in the region, and they must not be rash or aggressive. No preparation.
