China Paper Association representatives participate in the BRIC Summit series of events

　　From August 31st to September 4th, Zhao Wei, Chairman of the China Paper Association, and related personnel participated in the series of activities of the BRICS Summit held in Shanghai and Xiamen.

　　On the afternoon of August 31, Chairman Zhao Wei, as the head of the Agricultural Economic Group of the BRIC China Business Council, presided over the annual meeting of the Agricultural Economy Group. The agricultural economy is an important area for cooperation among BRICS countries. The participating members actively discussed and put forward many valuable opinions on the agricultural economic cooperation of the BRICS countries. On the morning of September 1st, at the annual meeting of the BRICs Business Council, Zhao Wei reported to the Council on the progress of the group's work and proposed that extending the industrial chain and expanding the development space is one of the important ways to eliminate poverty and develop agriculture. .

　　From September 3 to 4, Zhao Wei was invited to attend the BRIC Business Forum held in Xiamen. On the afternoon of the 4th, as a member of the BRIC Business Council, Zhao Wei participated in a dialogue between leaders of the BRICS countries and the business council and was received by the five heads of state. The heads of state of the five countries attached great importance to the work of the BRICs Business Council, affirmed the achievements made by the Governing Council since the Chinese chairmanship, and placed high hopes on the future role played by the Governing Council in the BRICS cooperation.
